The ad I viewed was President Obama talking about how our economy needs to be improved. Obama says that he is trying to make things better so that its easier to survive and be able to afford to live. Unemployment rates have been as high as 10%. The tenor of the ad campaign was extremely negative.

Alternate Ending
One of my favorite movies was Back To The Future 2. In the movie the main character Marty Mcfly goes with Dr.Brown to the future in his flying Delorean time machine. When they get to the future Marty picks up a sports almanac so that when they go back to the past he can place bets knowing he'll win. Then the old bully (Biff) picked up the book and stole the time machine to give it to his younger self in the past. Biff then becomes very rich and marries his Marty's mother. Marty goes back and time and stops the old Biff from giving the book to his younger self. An alternate ending for this movie if Marty never went back in time to stop old biff. The the world would have never been peaceful or safe. Marty's life would be awful and he'd never see his girlfriend Jenifer again. This way the end of the movie would be sad and leave you wondering, what if..
Yearbook video review
A couple weeks ago I worked on a project in film making for the yearbook. The message that was to be conveyed by my video was that you need to get your payments in to Mr. Klein or else you wont receive a yearbook. My group for the video was Chris , Robert and I. For my video we took a few pictures of me in a running pose, from different angles. Then we used the pictures to create and animation of me running down the hall and not receiving a yearbook. This happened because I was way to late. I then was very upset because I wont ever have those memories to look back at. PRE-ORDER YOUR YEARBOOK!!!

Is there a place for political correctness in contemporary filmmaking?
Yes, I believe there is a place for political correctness in filmmaking. I think this way because it brings humor to the film. Even though it may be offensive to some people its just a joke and the movie wouldn't be the same without it. Andre did look like a giant so they used him as a huge role in the movie to fight and climb and work. The movie wouldn't be possible without the use of political correctness.

The Princess Bride Q&A
What surprised you most about the end of the movie? The prince got to live and he didn't end up marrying the princess.
What were there parts of The Princess Bride you found suspenseful? Realistic? Humorous? Romantic? The suspenseful part was when Inigo montoya and vizziny were playing the wine drinking game and when he fought the two men. When Fezzik knocked down doors easily and when Inigo was punching him but he wasn't moving. When the princess rolled down the hill for Inigo. When Inigo kills the rat.
Do you have any memories of your parents reading to you when you were young? What types of books did you enjoy most? Have you revisited any of your childhood favorites in recent years? Yes, they read mystery books to get me to start thinking about situations and to figure out the mystery. I enjoy suspenseful books.Yes i have, i re-read the Harry Potter series.
Who in the movie did you most identify with and why? I most identified myself with Fezzik because he is a good fighter and a strong noble and loyal man.
Is the portrayal of Buttercup misogynistic? Is there a pattern in the way that women are portrayed in The Princess Bride? What are stereotypes about masculinity in The Princess Bride? What are the qualities of good men? The women in the movie love a man who protects them and fights for them. No, the protrayal of buttercup is misogynistic. Women are important in the movie and the movie is based around the princess and people wanting her. The stereotypes are like when you see the giant and you protray him are a mean bad guy be he is actually nice.
Think about the role of Fezzik in the movie. Andre the Giant played Fezzik. Andre had a syndrome called acromegaly, This condition is a result of excess growth hormone produced by the anterior pituitary gland, and it can result in disfigurement, giganticism, and premature death. Do you think it’s acceptable to use characters such as giants and dwarves in movies and television shows? Should they be defined by their physical appearance onscreen? Yes i do because they're unique and make the story more interesting because they can do things normal people cant. Yes, they should be defined because they're amazingly rare kinds of human beings.
What do the characters’ actions say about perseverance? What motivates them? Do you think internal or external motivation is more important in accomplishing goals? Indigo fights the Rugen who killed his father and doesn't stop even when he is hurt to make the man feel his fathers pain. Westly fights for the princess after getting three 3 men and is almost killed.
During the marriage scene, the priest has a speech impediment. Did you find this scene humorous? If so, were you comfortable laughing? Yes, I found that to be funny but didn't laugh out loud because i try to internally judge and not show that and end up hurting someones feelings.
Many characters in the novel are the best in the world at something. What is Westley the best at? He is the best at fighting and tricking people to their death.
When we first meet Inigo and Fezzik, they are working with Vizzini to kidnap Buttercup. Later, they become allies of Westley in his efforts to rescue her. What causes Inigo and Fezzik to change . . . or do they really change at all over the course of the novel? They become friends because they are both trying to protect the princess from marrying the awful prince. They both didn't like Vizinni because he was rude, cruel and didn't care about them. He was also trying to kidnap the princess so he became the enemy.
When Westley confronts Humperdink, he says that he won’t fight to the death but to the pain. Is it crueler to kill someone or leave them alive in their pain? It is more cruel to leave them alive in pain because that way they will suffer to death.
Discuss the story Westley tells about the Dread Pirate Roberts. How does this tale within the tale influence your interest in Westley? Is he still the same farm boy from the beginning of the book? It makes me feel that Wesley has been around through many fights and adventures and he is a smart, educated fighter because he is alive to this day.
How should The Princess Bride ultimately be categorized: Satire? Adventure? Romance? Fantasy? Is the title ironic? Does it imply a tame love story or a traditional piece of children’s literature? The story is an adventure but the end result is love. The title is ironic because the whole movie ends up being about the princess not wanting to marry the prince. Its a traditional love story where the princess falls in love with another man besides the prince who she is originally going to marry.
